For the First and Second Runner-up, if the winners are from countries classified as Low or Lower-middle income based on the World Bank definition, each recipient will be entitled to an additional 2 million VND allowance.
UniKL SUMMER SCHOOL IN MALAYSIA
UniKL Global Citizenship Experience: Language, Culture & Service Program in Malaysia is a 2-week summer school where participants will immerse themselves in Malaysian culture, language, and community service alongside international students. This program promises to offer a rich and eye-opening experience to the winners of IDEBATE, providing them with exciting and meaningful experiences throughout the summer.

Throughout the program, participants can anticipate immersing themselves in Malaysia culture, actively engaging with local communities, fostering new friendships among both UniKL University students and international peers, and acquiring profound insights into Malaysia’s history, traditions, and way of life.
INCLUDED
- Pick-up and drop-off at the airport;
- Basic accommodation (awardees will need to top up should they prefer other accommodations);
- Breakfast and lunch;
- Welcome and farewell dinner;
- Transportation during the program;
- Workshops;
- Cultural exchange and community activities;
- City tour.
EXCLUDED
- Round trip ticket from your country to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia;
- Travel insurance;
- Visa fee (if applicable);
- Personal expenses incurred.

- All prizes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash or credit, in whole or in part.
- Awardees are responsible for obtaining the required visa and travel insurance that enables their participation in the program. Universiti Kuala Lumpur will not bear the responsibility for any visa requirement, loss or damage during the program.
- Universiti Kuala Lumpur is not responsible for other travel arrangements that awardees have made which are not included in the itinerary or take place without Universiti Kuala Lumpur staff’s knowledge.
- Awardees should send a written confirmation whether they are able to take part in the program. Otherwise, their participation will be automatically cancelled.
VLU SUMMER SCHOOL IN VIETNAM
Summer school in Vietnam is a 1-week program where participants will engage in cultural activities as well as take part in community service with international students. This program will give a summer full of exciting, meaningful, and mind-opening experiences to the winners of IDEBATE.

- Round trip ticket from your country to Ho Chi Minh City;
- Travel insurance;
- Visa fee;
- Personal expenses incurred.
